I have been ill with oral shingles for the last three weeks. It is the most painful and debilitating diease I have ever experienced.

I have had more doctor visits in the past 3 weeks than in the past three years and I'm taking medicatoins that I would normally not take trying desparately to make it "disappear."

I started with "why me?" or "Go away!" Later I decided as I was doing a breathing meditation to send the pain love and thanked it for showing me where I followed a pattern of vicitmhood.

However, this disease has led me to a doctor who aligns with the whole body method of healing. Dr. Mitchell told me how he had watched his mother die of breast cancer and that for all his medical knowledge, it was his emotional self that held on to the pain that developed physically. It reminded me of how Cornelius would sometimes tell someone that if they had not been ill he and them would have never met. Well the same thing happened to me. I would have never met Dr. Mitchell if I had not been in so much pain.

So although I am suffering physically I feel hopeful about finding a way to heal.
